# Generate lead magnets with AI

With Subpage AI you can turn source material into a multi-tab lead magnet in a few minutes.

You need a **Premium** account. Generation uses **AI credits** — if you run out, buy more from Subscription / AI credits checkout, or contact <support@subpage.co>.

## How to start

1. Open **Generate with AI** from the sidebar, or go to [AI Lead Magnets](https://my.subpage.co/ai-lead-magnets).

2. Press **Generate with AI**.

3. Choose a **source**, fill in the fields, then press **Generate Content**.
4. The job runs in the **background**. You can close the page and come back later. Most jobs finish in about **1–3 minutes** (larger files or long videos can take longer).

## Sources

| Source          | What to use                               | Notes                                                                                                                                                                                                                        |

| **Files**       | Upload a document or other supported file | Generation reads the file content. If a job fails, use **Retry** before re-uploading the same file.                                                                                                                          |
| **YouTube**     | Public YouTube URL                        | The video **must have captions / a transcript**. If there are no captions, Subpage will show an error — enable captions on YouTube, pick another video, or use **Files** instead. Private or age-restricted videos may fail. |
| **Website URL** | Webpage URL                               | **Temporarily unreliable.** Website import can fail while we fix the scraper. Prefer **Files** or **YouTube** for now. We will restore URL import when that work ships.                                                      |

## After generation

When the job succeeds, a page is created under [My lead magnets](https://my.subpage.co/pages). Open it to edit, brand, and set your lead gate.

If a job stays pending longer than expected, wait a few minutes, then use **Retry** on that job.

## Troubleshooting

* **YouTube: no captions** — Turn on captions for that video on YouTube, or switch to **Files**.
* **Out of AI credits** — Buy more AI credits from Subscription, then retry.
* **Job failed** — Retry once. If it still fails, email <support@subpage.co> and include the job or page link.
* **Website URL fails** — Expected for now; use Files or YouTube until URL import is restored.
